Impact: This summer 2020 report was the first major report to discuss school reopening in the context of COVID-19. It was cited in the reopening plans for the states of Maryland, Virginia, Connecticut, and Minnesota. Soon after this report was published I was invited to testify in front of the House Oversight Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis on school reopening. I was joined by former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, among other witnesses.
